Nebraska fans thought that Ohio State coach Urban Meyer was running up the score. But the Cornhuskers trailed 56-38 when they got the ball for the final time after a punt with 3:17 left in Saturday’s game. On Nebraska’s second play Taylor Martinez fumbled and Ohio State recovered at the Nebraska 26. They Buckeyes tried to kill time by just running the ball but Ohio State’s running back Carlos Hyde broke through and scored to make it 63-38. No one in the Nebraska locker room including head coach Bo Pelini thought that the Buckeyes were running up the score.
But some outside sources thought that they were including sports writers and fans. They put their opinions in on Twitter. One tweet by another Huskers backer summed it up. In so many words, he (or she) said, “It’s all on you, Huskers. NU not going anywhere, Mr. Meyer.” So the person here is saying that they will see them later on in the year when the Big Ten Tournament comes around so they can get their revenge.
The Buckeyes will face the Hoosiers in Indiana on Saturday at 8 p.m. the Hoosiers are struggling so maybe we’ll see another high scoring game by the Buckeyes.
